Is MA-620 infrared device works on your 6600?

I use IR device on my fours years old packard bell easy note vx and it works perfect. What more could I expect. Problem it works with all Nokia Phones including 6600, 6100, etc. But not with samsung and some other manufacturers.
try visiting packard bell website and look for easynote vx laptop ir device, maybe this will help.

It works fine with my old Toshiba as well. What is your problem? Any further details that could help us figuring out what's going on?

go to the control panel, wireless device, properties, check the connections speed, is it 4mbps or lower. set the speed to 11500 as nokia phone can't take the speed if 4MBPS, it will auto disconnected after connected.

Ok... here whats happening..

Right now I'm only using the 'wireless link' of XP in transferring my images to my pc and vice versa. Before i can transfer files to it, i need to perfectly establish a connection between my 6600 and MA-620 infra device so that the 'transfer files' will appear. Sometimes it is so easy to connect but sometimes its so hard i almost spent my whole day.

I can't figure out what is the reason. My infra eyes are all clean but how come it seems it has a mood.

also sometimes when i got the perfect connection and everything and while the image is being transferred to my phone it suddenly stop (the indicator not moving). While sometimes i can transfer a 30k for about 3-4 seconds only.

I also installed my PC suite but i can't connect the two even once thats why i use the wireless link which is moody..

I also experience a disconnection after tranferring 10 images but i'll try the suggestion of the guy above by reducing the speed.

For now, what do u think?
