E-mail trouble

I've managed to set up e-mail using IMAP on my phone, and I can download and read mails fine, sending is fine, it's all good apart from one thing. I can't mark anything as read, and I can't delete anything unless I read it first... In todays spaminfested world, that is simply not an option.

Does anyone have an idea what's wrong?

On a related note, my IMAP mailbox has several subfolders, usually I tell a client to look in INBOX, then INBOX.XChat etc... is that possible with the standard mailclient?

So... I guess this means nobody uses their SX1 for reading mail... :?

Ask your provider
it appears they have locked down both the phone and your account

Uh.. How do you figure that?

As I said, I can do all the things I should be able to do, except delete an unread mail. That doesn't sound like locking to me.. if so, it's an extremely strange lock to put in.

Don't use IMAP, but using POP3, I can delete items in the mailbox, highlight the item, "options" then "delete".

Maybe it's an IMAP thing?

Point is, I want to use IMAP, and as a matter of fact, it's the only option available to me.

Is there anyone who has gotten IMAP to work right, or is this a bug in the software?
