Hello. Does anybody know how to copy the information from one mmc to another?
I have pics, videos, and programs installed in my mmc, but now i bought another mmc, and I want to transfer all the info to this new mmc. How can I do it? Should i pass the info to a PC and then install the new MMC and copy the info from the pc to the phone? But how about the programs? Will they still work? When I installl a program, doesn't it writes part of the system files (just like in a computer)? Thanks for all the help you can provide.
well u have two option
one by card reader and other by nokia pc suite
by card reader .
frist u have to to chose the option from the my computer to view all the foler (hidden files) if u don't see hidden files then just press ctrl +a
u can copy all the folder to any other folder in ur p
the put new mmc and past all them
note do with copy camd not with cut.
by pc suite make backup and then instet new mmc and the it will as u will u ant to restore the information click on yes.
eveything will work as before

have to disagree with this.. pcsuite is prone to crashing (esp. with larger MMC's) and using a USB2 cardreader, copying full MMC content is a matter of seconds. I've done it twice without any problems (all the apps worked after, nothing missing etc.). ..just my 2c's worth..

even i am using the copy via card reader its working fine
and it take only few min to tranfer mbs of data
but in pc suite it take hrs to backup and hrs to restore
and altough it take many sapce in hard disk of the computer.
