Wy don't YOU click the Search link (above) and type "email".

There's been plenty of discussion of email with the 7650 already.

Tero

yes they do, and the point of a forum is two way communication.

look in the manual and come back with some specifics!

i know email is a messaging system, does this help?
i no but there r soo many and none of them give n e real info
It would be easier to help if you give a little hint of what you want to know. The 7650 has an email client that supports IMAP4, POP3 and SMTP protocols. You can have several mail addresses and mailboxes. You need an Internet connection with GSM or GPRS data. This is all told at Nokia's 7650 website.

What else do you want to know?

Hey I managed to setup my email account on the phone by reading the threads and asking ppl concise and exact info mate.

So dont knock these threads, they are helpful, just open your eyes to look for the facts and what info you need to know to set it up on your partoicular phone.

I have downloaded emails to my mailbox from my pop3 account but cant delete emails from my phone.. I choose the 'delete from phone' option and the 'delete from phone &server' but they still sit there and take up memory.. any ideas anyone..??

When you select delete, LOOK carefully icon of message (before and after deleting).

There is following icons:
"message in server" <--- arrow up <---- this when you have not downloaded message
"message in phone" <---- arrow down <---- this when you have downloaded (opened) message

Then select delete from phone ->
"message in server" <--- arrow up, so there is no message (only header which does not take actully any space) in phone

Then select delete from phone and server ->
"deleted" <--- message with line
Disconnect - connect - no message or header.

So it works OK. Maybe you should get glasses and read the manual 😊

This is annoying but i may be right in saying that you need to disconnect then reconnect after selecting either deletion method and then you will find they will go off your phone and free up the menu ! 😉

Hope this helps ( And i hope i am right ) ! 😉
