Nokia 7650 problems with pc desktop IR..HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

i have a external usb infrared, sigmatel USB-IrDA adapter, i connect with my cpu but the pc suite for 7650 dont recognize the phone. can some tell me here i can find the newst driver for this ir . i have XP pro... please help me please

Are you getting any response on the PC? I got a situation where the PC connected then dropped the connection almost at once. The reason turned out to be that I had installed the SDK option from the CD and told it to scan the Infra Red port also; this conflict caused the disconnection.

You may also want to check the flashing Infra Red icon on the 7650 and tell us if it ever stops flashing (remains steady) for any period of time).
