how to access html yahoo or hotmail email accounts from 7650

can i just make one point here !

I know that there are alot of ppl using these forums whos 1st language is not English and i fully respect that but for those that it is could we please try and title posts accordingly as i come into threads like these and im waiting to be told the answer but there is a question ?

it should be "Is there a way to view yahoo mail on 7650 ?" or similar !

Is that a little like using "vetran" instead of "veteran" as your forum title? What nationality are you?

The Veteran title shows under everyone's username after they post so much, I think it is 50. As for his nationality, if you look under his picture you will see.

cheers j2theizzo, i was not on about one person in particular i was merely saying that many threads are titled incorrectly and if you aer in a hurry look for a few things you end up looking at the wrong threads !

I did also say that i apprecaite ppl from other countries using English and I AM NOT Mocking it !

from my playing with WebVeiwer i found that you cannot get HTML Mail but i have not tried the mail proggy yet !

would it not be easier to find the HTML mailbox settings and add more mailboxes to your messaging folder for ease of use !

i'll try and play with the MailVeiwer on Trial and see if i can help you this evening m8 !

i have also tried mailviewer but it only supports pop3 and imap i think? anyway it did not work.
Basically i have a pop3 account but i receive too many emails. i just want to use a low profile html account which is scaned for viruses and i can upload my pictures.
also when i read my pop3 emails it deletes them from the account. maybe you know a way to leave a copy on the server and just read the headers?
also i just want to make it work for the fun of it, i like to get things done!

I think you can access you Yahoo email through WAP.

I have a Hotmail account but have never tried accessing it through Webviewer. Have you tried webviewer with the setting "Identify as MSIE"
as some site "discriminate" against Non Microsoft web browsers this option tricks the site into thinking that it is Microsoft Internet Explorer.

As hotmail is a Microsoft account this maybe the problem.

Actually that's a forum setting (it a automatically assigned rank once you have a certain number of posts). The spelling mistake is my fault.

thanks for the help on reading my emails but now i managed to read my hotmail emails but can not download attachments....like midi files.

how can i send email attachments to my 7650 without having to login and password and username etc etc..like a shortcut or from messaging creating an account or something...!!

That would have to be either a POP3 or IMAP4 account (Like the one you use with your ISP)

You can access these by either setting up a GRPS account with your service provider or dialing your ISP directly from your phone (Like you do on your PC).

i understand that pop3...so no html account for file attachments.

someting else now.. have you managed to read pop3 emails without removing them from the server so to have them available for download from the computer.
if you use outlook you have the option to leave a copy of the emails on the server can it be done on the 7650?

Of coz you can. You need to select Retrieve e-mail -> New ( it will only download the header).
