Is it just me, or aren't voicetags a higher priority over ringtones (you can't dial w/ ringtones) . I know I can't set a seperate ringtone for everyone and I really don't just want my phone saying someone's name everytime they call (me making ringtones of their name), but I do want to hear the voicetag when I'm using my handsfree for incoming calls. Is there an app for this or did I miss it in the search?
Voicetag notification over bluetooth
I am in total agreement with you, Especially since I live in New York, Where HandsFree is the law! My last phone (LG VX4500) Had the most amazing Speaker Independent Voice Recogintion. Which enabled you to Voice Dial a Number, by simply speaking the Digits (Digit Dial), as well as by Voice Tag. When Receiving a call you could set it to the Text to Speech mode, which would in turn Speak the persons name Stored in your Phone Book! There has got to be some software for the 6600 that we have missed in our searches. :frown: Hopfully someone will jump in on this Thread! Ghost Dog We NEED YOU 😃
hey that would be really cool, let me know if you find something. There must be something similar out there
Anyone know where the actual voicetag file is in the system? I saw this app time tool/talking clock that uses wav's to fake a text 2 speach engine. I don't know if there's a symbian 7s 60 series api for it, but it seems you could at least get the numbers part working. (still looking)
I saw this is being ported to symbian:

hope we get something quicker.
Anyone else find something?
