PayAnd Go Serious GPRS Problems!

I have been trying for two days to connect to the areana via o2 GPRS, I rang o2 technical support and spoke to a man, I ran out of credit(7.00) and I had to tell him to ring me back! We went through the settings manually etc Then at the end of the call he told me that it was probably because my sim card was to old to support GPRS because of old sims having 8-bit transfer rates etc...hmmmm

At first I did believe him but when I got home I checked it out by putting my sim card into my mates mob and hey presto the GPRS worked...So back on the phone again to O2 this time around I told them to ring me back staright away which they did! Again I spoke to a different person, we went through the setting manually again. Then at the end he told me that the N-Gage QD was not actually showing up on the o2 system and that is what could be the case of why the phone is not connecting he said because of the various testing that they would have to perform on the QD before releasing it!

So what happens to all the people like me who have a QD in the UK and want to access the N-Gage Areana?

Just want to know if anyone else has experienced this and if its true?

Nothing unusual, O2 are always the last to sort this sort of thing, fuck knows why it's a problem..just let every phone access GPRS.

You may have noticed that pay-go GPRS is returning an account balance at end of call, not yet charging but it's a bad sign.
