Problem with default screensaver

Whenever my Nokia 6600 swith over to default screensaver it messes up my screen and I can`t return to normal phone mode again without turning the phone of and on again.

It works fine as long as I keep it from turning the screen saver on.
(have set the time out to 30 min. but sometimes I forget to push any button to get 30 new min.)

Is it possible to turn off default screensaver?

This is very tiring. Can somebody help me please.
I have only had the phone for a month now. :frown:

First of all if its doing that the phone has a defect and should be taken to a nokia care centre and replaced with a new phone or fixed.

If thats not possible i think you can uninstall the screensaver using Fexplorer somehow. I dont know how to do it but someone else will

I think I may be having the same or similar problem. Only thing is that my phone doesn't come back after turning it on and off. I'm open for suggestions as well.

try removing the battery and mmc , then put the battery back in and try to start the phone without that. Then you can see if its something thats been installed on the mmc and possibly format the phone and then the mmc.

Sorry im not too experienced in this so not sure what else to suggest

Menu>Tools>Settings>Phone>Display>30 minutes.
Menu>Themes>Options>Edit>Screen saver>(chose time or text) and make sure you are doing it on the theme you use.

You could have a buggy theme or if it's default your phone is messed up, but it may be worth adding a new theme and trying then.
