Hi Guys! :?
Please help me. Whenever I upload applications to my nokia 6600, (it normally goes to your inbox right?), I can't open them. I already reformatted my phone as well as my memory card, but it is still the same. Please help me find what to install since I have applications that I want to install in my phone that are really cool, and helpful for me. Thanks!!!
Mel
What sort of error message are you receiving. Have you tried sending via bluetooth or using a card reader??
Otherwise if you've set up email on your phone you could email the files to your phone and install them straight from the email attachment. Last option could be to try to find a wap site with the apps and download them direct to the phone using wap/gprs.
Also once they have been received in your inbox try saving the file to a separate folder first and then install it from that folder. Possibly the phone doesnt like installing directly from your messaging inbox.
Hope these suggestions are helpful
If you can install anything at all (I recommend something like torch for simplicity or readm for usuage), but you can't install other things from the phone....IMHO...I wouldn't install those apps. You can probably install them using the PC suite, but you may run into troubles removing them w/ the phone installer.
What Firmware and Languages does your phone have and what applications are you having trouble with?
hi
i have a similar problem :
i can send .sis files to the phone via infrared ( i tried spiderman game for example) and the infra connection works fine.
then i go to the inbox and install from there.
it informs me that app is not certified and i should install on my own risk, i say yes.
then it shows the installation bar, and after it completes it says "nstallation complete" or something like that.
now here's the problem: after installation i cant find the app/game anywhere! i look in the menu but its not there, its not in the app mangaer also.
what could be wrong??
thanks for the help
