Setup 9210 as modem for laptop

Install modem drivers from your cd or forum.nokia.com to your laptop and activate "fax-modem" from 9210...

I have done that but when i try to make a connection my laptop says that the remote server does not answer.
When i look in my phone log there is no entry of a datacall so i have the feeling that there is no phonenumber called at all.

Take a look to faxmodem settings in 9210.. Go to > OS > Windows2000 > Yes
Have you done that?

Yes those settings i have.
Now i get an error message (on my laptop) "Could not setup a PPP connection with remote server" so i think our RAS server does not support this function.
However i think this is strange because i can use my 9210's internet browser with the same dailup settings as on my laptop.
I think i go and look for an other provider and try there if i could use my 9210.

Once i have same kind problem cos i use High Speed and my other ISP dont support that very well. I change ISP and now i can connect via v120 HSCSD modem drivers.

Do you use HSCSD? Have you tried slowest drivers?

in windows, i have default settings. (i only need my service providers phone number)

Have you tried other providers yet?
