Messages on the memory card?

Wirelessly posted (Nokia N-Gage: NokiaN-Gage/1.0 (4.03) SymbianOS/6.1 Series60/0.9 Profile/MIDP-1.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.0)

Is there any way I can store all my messages on my N-Gage's Multimedia Memory Card (MMC), just like newer Symbian OS-powered phones (eg. The Nokia 6600) can?

I remember hearing about a program that let you do this, but it screwed up every time you put a game in (obviously) so i wouldn't recommend it.

Older Symbian OS-powered phones can too, so it is not a question of how new or old it is (except for the 7650 which is the oldest Series 60 phone, but with no memory card at all).

The N-Gage can't do it, simply, because the feature is an either-or-feature (message store resides either on the memory card or in phone memory), and if you have a game card MMC in it (which is read-only), where would the phone put incoming messages, in that case? 😉

So, I'm afraid you have to live without the feature, live with browser access to email, or a remote email client (such as the one from ReqWireless), or get another phone.
