I live in Cambodia but my family has returned home for the summer to see my grandma and family. Before coming to America i sold my t610 and purchased a classic Ngage. I love it and after playing it my brother loves it also. He wants to purchase a Ngage QD here in america and im wondering if it will work in Cambodia i know that they are only Dual band unlike the orignal that is Tri Band and it would be a big dissapointment for him if he moved back and it didnt work as a phone.
Will American NGAGE QD work in Cambodia
The N-Gage QD is a dual-band model and there are two versions of it. The one sold in North America (USA and Canada) uses 850MHz & 1900MHz. The one sold elsewhere in the world uses 900MHz and 1800Mhz.
The North American version will only work in North America (as those frequencies are only used there).
The one sold elsewhere will work everywhere where there are GSM/GPRS networks, except North America.
