😞 I wonder does anyone happen to know or the same problem like me? When I check the App Manager the Contacts Memory keep increasing although I actually deleted some Contacts. This is confusing :-? I supposed if you deleted some of your contacts, your memory count of your Contact should be decreasing 😉 My Contact now already 389Kb only just for 268 contacts person

The thing is that contacts are compressed when you remove a contact it takes a while to recompress the whole thing so it seems that it adds memory insted of removing it! After a while you will see that it goes down again!
The phone archieve all contacts you add in your phone's memory. IF you delete some of the contact, it's still in your memory just like in your recyle bin in your PC's desktop ( windows ).
It will auto purge in few days if you did not restore via your PC suite.

Thanx for the prompt reply but it has been 4 days now my Contact is still increasing by 3KB even if i just assign a new ringiing tone or deleted some more contacts .... this is annoying coz you have a limited memory to deal with ... 1 KB counts ... any suggestion to compress the contacts? :-? :-?
I faced same problem with you, in fact my calendar also the same. Don't worry too much, we have a good phone with a good OS, it will auto purge in few days time. Relax.
From few days to a week. It's the hidden default setting.
I have the same problem. When I add a picture to a contact the memory increases, but when I delete the pic, the memory is still increased! I have almost 300 Kb and only 80-90 contacts!
If you add thumbnail image in your contact, of coz it will add in your memory. Try to delete images from your IMAGES and also your thumbnail in your contact.
Let me know if that still un-resolve. Coz mine have no problem at all
I don�t refer to a thumbnail, but to a large picture added to a contact.
First I check my contacs memory (250 kb for example), and then I add a pic to a contact and check my contacts memory again (275 kb for example). Then I delete the added picture from my contact and go to check the contacs memory again, and still 275 kb... �?

Be patient, I had the same problem but it cured itslef! Its just some kb anyway!
Mine purge every 7 days after deletion of contact. Be patent.
