I use an MSI Bluetooth dongle and WIn XP PRO! I was never able to use the backup option with PC Suite. When I select it, it says closing applications and stays like this forever.
Anyone has some ideas? Everything else works.

When you do your installation, did you choose all the option provided during the installation setup?
I never face problem like that using WinXP Pro and Win2K Pro and Win98 OSr2.
It should works nicely. Your PC should pickup any BT devices neraby and connect.
Yes I did but this seems to be not working just for me!
PC Suite is already connected, transfering images works etc.
But when I press Backup, it opens a window that says closing applications and then hangs! 😞
I never heared that nayone has the same problem either!

Why not you try to install in another machine and try?

Does it tell you where it's closing applications?
Might be worth making sure all apps (like seleq, games etc.) are closed on the phone before you try to do a backup.
If it's backing the data up it needs to make sure nothing will write new data to the phone. It could be finding problems with permisions to close something, then it can't do anything
This is just a guess...
No It does not say but I figure it tries to close programs in the phone! However, nothing is running at the moment in both, the PC and the Phone!
I tried reinstalling PC Sutie but have the same problem!
