Formatting a 512 MMC with the correct file structure

2 replies · 2,984 views · Started 18 June 2004

I've just bought a 512 MB MMC and card reader from allack. But if I format the MMC by right-clicking on the drive in "My computer" then selecting format, and FAT as the filesystem; then how am I going to get the right file structure on the card? I mean the neccesary folders: fx. "system", "apps", "sounds" and so on...

i ask something similar be4, somebody answer and give me a link whit instruccions about how to fix it,look up my nick for my past post to get the link, but to make it shorter the only way to get it fix is to format the mmc whit a external card reader

Even if the card is empty, there shouldn't be any problems. The folders should be creater on the fly as you install apps/games/ringtones.
