When I receive SMS, it only shows the phone #'s even though they're already in the address book. Is there anyway to have the names show up instead of the numbers?
Also, I believe that there 'wasn't' a way to sort the Contacts (first last name or last, first name), does this still hold true?
Thanks!
Check that you don't have the number twice in Contacts (same record, or different record(s)).
On http://www.symbian.com somewhere there's a LookUp utility than can be used to search for contacts by the number instead of the name.
If that's not the case, then I suppose you're on Orange. This seems to be a typical problem for Orange customers. I don't know, exactly, what they do differently, but you could ask their tech support, if you wish. Or, you can always switch to a different operator. 😉
In Contacts -> Options -> Settings you can choose whether names are shown with the first name first, or the last name first.
There's also a NameSwap application that you can use to switch the first/last name fields:

In Contacts -> Options -> Settings you can choose whether names are shown with the first name first, or the last name first.
I dont have a settings command on the option on my 3660... Can anyone confirm this? I use name swap to change the data entry to first name first then last name.
