MMC problems

I bought a 266mb MMC card and it was fine for a week i kept adding suff and all of a sudden i could not access it, the error message kept commin up CURUPT so i reformated and it still comes up with it any one with any ideas please share. :frown:

i have managed to get it to not say curupt by reformating again and again finally it worked but now i am having th problem on my pc not reconizing it?

If you have XP and formatted it at some point as NTFS you might need to fix the mmc file system using some partition magic sw or similar via external MMC reader. Symbian doesn't understand NTFS and even if it can do reformat to FAT16 it might be that there's still something wrong that prevents full usage.

i have only formatted the card once when i bought the card ever since it has been fine but then it came up with curupt when i was accessing the music player, do u think a card reader will sort this out?

how much memory should be used on the MMC when nothing is on it?? I have 40kb used, someone told me that there might be still a currupted file still on the card from when it corrupted in the irst place.
