I've just released version 0.1 of a free (GPLed) program that downloads and displays METAR weather reports on your phone. Its called "Weather" and you can get it at

I'd really appreciate feedback and bug reports.
I have only tried it on my 6600 so I'd like to hear if it works ok on other Series 60 phones.
If anyone wants to contribute translations for other languages drop me an email too!

the icon is the blue puzzle and i think that some of the APIs of 6600 are not working to 7660 😞

On the N-Gage it exists with a System Error.
Ok it seems that it doesn't work with v1.0 of Series 60 because it was built with the v2.0 SDK.

I hadn't updated the .pkg script, so it was making a .sis with the old files 🙄

Can something be done about locations that only have a 5-digit WMO index number and no ICAO code,IE: Skopje-Petrovec (13586, LWSK) ,Skopje-Zajcevrid (13588, ----).
Skopje-Zajcevrid doesn't have a ICAO code and can't be used as a location.All of them have 5-digit WMO index numbers.

I'm not sure. The NWS server only seems to have reports for stations with ICAO codes.
7650: the aplpication works fine!
but my problem is the connection, Im using wap settings, so i need to configure proxy!
netfront works fine with my IP, but i need to change the PORT!!!
this is something that is missing from settings tab!
besides, i liked this app

very handy application. was working fine with my 3660. until recently.
now i always get a error message - Got unexpected response code <403>. tried with several locations but the same problem. can you help please.
have you changed anything? moved networks?
check your proxy settings are still correct.

I am still on the same network , same location & haven't changed any of the settings. I have been using internet access (not wap) & i have no problem with other programs like the netfront browser.
