Go to delete from server, connect, then when you disconnect the mails will go. 😃
done that already.. the message header still stays there unless I retrieve the email and then dlete from server.. but that means I would have to retrieve over a 100 of them..!! 😮
Highlight the one you want to delete, press C, go to delete from server. (This should put a line through it).
Open the menu, go to connect (Not retreive mail), when it has connected, mail should not start to come into your mailbox unless you tell it to retreive new mail or all mail. Now your connected, just disconnect and the mail deletes.
This is the way to do it!, try it, if I doesn't work exactly the way I said i'll eat my phone. 😃
looks like your gonna have to eat your phone..!! I tried that way once before and just again now.. it puts the line through but dont delete it.. it says 'updating inbox' but thats about it.. and it doent even delete that email from the server either.. is there anway with seleq to delete these headers..?? I tried searching but couldnt find anything...
*eating phone**Gulp* 😞
Are you using POP3 or IMAP4?
I'm using a POP3 Freeserve account, and that's how I delete mine.
Anyone else have anymore Ideas?
its a pop3 account .. I might delete the mailbox and setup another email account to test it... :-? unless anoyone has other ideas..
Well, same thing happened to me, so now I gave up using phone to recieve my pop3.
You can't just delete header from phone, if you want to get rid of it ... you have to use delete from server option aswell :-? ... but I want to keep the one on the server incase I need it later, but I want it off my phone !!!
I'll stop .. or I'll confuse myself 😃
So now .. I forward all my pop3 to yahoo account, and check it with WAP ... easier and cheaper....
for me anyway ...
