here is the answer,what we have 2 do if the Memory is full,and theres no way 2 rebooth:
first be shure,the phone have enjough energy.(if not😃ONT remove the akku,2 chanche with another one,only put in the charger!)
then press 0ok,if your phone shows startup-failed:
so u can see the white empty screen.
Now PUT the CODE:*#7370#
this is the long searching hardreset if theres no way anymore to 2 it else.
Then your phone make the hardreset to!!!
(and we think always,
this only work,if the phone is on standby:
sometimes the answer is to near to see 😉 )
If somebody happens the startup failed Syndrom,
please try out this first:
i would like to test it self out,cause i wanna know whats this really.
But my Device seens to be a find of imun against the Syndrom,so i have 2 wait feedbacks.
But evejn,if there is happens the syndrom,u even can try it out,
cause more ugly it can not goes....

I knew this code already, but I didnt think u can enter it when the phone is totally hung up ... I tried the hard reset with a working phone and it was reset to the origin condition.

But what we not know was this:
the Code specially also works if there is the startup failed:Contact service error!!!!

I think try not be do anything stupid on the phone... A advice for you is to grab your phone and head straight to Nokia Care Centre with your warrenty card for a service repair.
For me, if this happen to my phone, i will rather get the expert to do it for me. 😉

They said to me,that they fix the most 7650 like that,
why i should not believe it?(The shop and me work for additioral Infos hand in hand now for 4 years...
I give them my infos,so they can check it out,

I really trustthem,never a Info was fault,and even 2day our speeking was serios and not make in 5min.
Me,if one time happens the startup-failed,
i will be happy 2 try out,cause without a risk there is no win,

yes,its the code 4 Hardereset.(Formatting)
only works good,if your Phone Akku is full enough,cause this needs a bit of energy.
Better,first deinstall all the Sis,and the Java-applications,
so the phone has not to work all self out.
U can also let the charger on phone,so the energy is enough.
(this is the only,but real importent thing 2 care)
The formatting goes himself min. 3-5Min.
Do not remove the Akku,if it seens that nothing happens:
the phone is at formatting,and need this time 4 it...

Had to try this as my phone has locked up !
Tried the phone settting "reset to default" first and seeing that it left on there all my apps etc and only reset the phone settings proceeded to try the *#7370# code !
Then it all went wrong ! Teh phone had approx 2mb left in memory and will not power back up !
How will i cope with not having it for a few weeks !?

Yes its the same in German but only for rechargable ones that go in phones, cameras etc.

Sorry I did not see your question! So you make a 7370 reset and your phone does not start now? If you did a 7370 your phone has more than 2mb of memory! If you put in the charger does it light up? Try to 7370 your phone again! Check if you have the same problem with J2theIZZO with the powerbutton!

1) I am very sure that there was 2mb of memory left available
2) If i insert the charger it does make the screen white but it does not appear to charge ! ( If you switch the phone off it auto powers back on with the charger still in)
3)I cannot see that pressing any more buttons helping as i have repeatidly tried to reset again !
Basically the screen is plain white with a box half way up the screen to the bottom with the words "Phone start-up failed. Contact the retailer."

😞 I think you have no choice here! Return the phone BUT when you do that, DEMAND an replacement and DEMAND it to be a 7650! Then just restore your backup! I think that I have heared ppl returning their phones when properly demanding, that they received a 7650 replacement phone untile theirs got fixed! So good luck 😊

so the phones seems to react different...
or the damned info is not right...
Please write then here,
what was the technikal reason(if they will find out),
and how the NSC helps u out of this damned situation.
(Dont let them try too give u a @##� 3210 or something like that:
u have a 7650 and this is also what u need 4 this time!!
Say u need the datas of the phone now,and also the Mailboxes;
and that u will have a backup on your PC only for the 7650 )

Nope just been into Carphone warehouse and they are useless !
The best they can offer me is a TRIUM ! <--- What ever this peice of crapola is !
And it will be away for a minimum of 2 weeks ! WHAT !
I then rang Club Nokia and although helpful they said that this was the best i could hope for !
