Well I'm going to go buy a used n-gage tommorow and was wondering how much a sim card would cost. (used n-gage don't come with sim) I heard they were $20 but, don't you have to sign up for a service plan in order to get one? I'm not planning on activating the phone until october i just want to use all the other features. So how would i go about getting one? Can't i use any sim card?

yep, any sim will do.
Most used N-Gages do come with sim cards, I know when I sold my original N-Gage to get store credit for the QD, I had to sell the sim card with it(N-Gage comes with a sim card with a T-Mobile trial.) Any sim card will work, you can go to T-Mobile and buy a blank card for $20. Or, if you have any old sim cards you're not using lying around the house, pop it right in. Any sim card will work, from any provider that uses sim cards(though I hear Cingular sometimes works, sometimes doesnt)

My used NGage came with a brand new SIM card from T-Mobile..... I don't see why yours wouldn't.
