I am soooo depressed! I must have left it inside the taxi when it slipped thru my pockets.... i will miss my n-gage.....

do what regis philbin did:

call the number of the phone and see who answers.

Man, thats harsh, you should have installed TheftAlert, losck the phone and displays a message that you write if you sent it a text or if the sim is changed, then it replies telling your the Cell ID so you can track it to about 200m

Well sometimes lessons are learnt the hard way... i bought my 8210 a few years back on the VERY day it was released in my country with all my savings (still a poor teenager back then 😃), and it was stolen from my trouser pockets while i was changing and left it on the bench for no more than 5 seconds when i went to wash my hands. It was only 10 days old then 😞 from then on, my phone NEVER and i mean NEVER leaves my body or eyeshot. I've never lost a phone since, regardless of how small or light.

You can get a new unlocked one for 70 (original n-gage)
Must be realy cheap 2nd hand on e-bay

What's the killer isn;t loosing the N-Gage, but loosing the MMC inside the N-Gage. Data is sometimes more important than the machine. Backups are vital 😊

Good point. Better start backing up my stuff now heh 😃

I wanted to buy a new n-gage but maybe after sometime... i got my old number anyways. Even if i lost the SIM card, i can just pay the operator to get a new one but having the same number.

The funny part is, the day before I lost my N-Gage, i have disabled TheftAlert. Just great.... :frown:

Mate, i left my ngage on a train after only 10 days. Thing is it was handed in and even train'd to my station. I've never kept anything i've found since.
