I have a similar problem ... everytime I try to acces the application control app I receive a system error. Everytime I try to install a .sis file I copied to the phone and try to install it, I gives an error too. Same error when I try to acces the phone memories system folder with FExplorer. Will restoring my phone to the factory settings solve this problem ? Will it erase my contacts list and my sms messages when I reset the phone memory or restore to factory sett. ?

Back up your contacts
Back up your configurations
Back up your images
Back up your messages
Using *#7370# SHOULD correct these errors but as suggested in previous forums, format the MMC too.

Thx, but when I try to make a backup from everything, it gives the same error, it won't work with PC suite and make a backup to the mmc doesn't work either. Is there any way I can backup this, because I really wouldn't like to loose the contacts and their thumbnails ... So if I reset the phone with that code, does the rom memory copy it's things to the phone memory ? or where does the phone memory gets it's original data ? Thx in advance

Backing up can be done on an mmc tru ur phone using the built in back up feature .. or u can use pc suit to back up contacts and images ..
for configurations like wap and gprs u can contact ur operator and ask em to send the settings again ...
as for applications .. well u would already have the .sis files on ur comp if u transfered to ur phone ..

And for all the above u would need a Cable .. OR a bluetooth dongle .. OR an IR Dongle .. 😃

hope this answers ..

Well, I can copy files to my phone with bluetooth and pcsuite, so it does connect, but when I try to make a backup pcsuite gives an error ... Really strange, so I guess the system folder on the flash memory is damaged ... it's really strange

hmm .. i suggest you d'load the new version of pc suit .. it has a bluetooth fix .. go to the nokia site and to ur phone specks .. and then to d;loads .. u mite find it there .. try this n check .. besides if ur mmc is damaged then i think it wouldent read the mmc at all ..
so try this out n see 😊

Nope, I've uninstalled Pcsuite and installed the new version. I received the very same error. Is there really no other way to backup my memory ? A backup to the mmc gives a system error too ... 😞

jeez .. guess ur mmc is curropt or sumfin .. hope u tried putting a diff mmc in ur phone n backing up .. if that also fails .. therz a problem with ur phone .. but if that goes well .. then ur mmc need to be replaced ..

Yep, a different mmc gives the same probs, even when I boot without mmc the problem remains ... :s
