Sound problem with 6600

I got my 6600 just today, freshly new. But after a while of usage the ringtones in 6600 wouldnt start to play. I can't hear them rinning, but example button tones work just fine.

I noticed while i tryed the Mp3Ultra program, that everytime i close it it closes app called 'Sound streaming'. So, does that program have anything to do with ringtones? And is there any way to '"restart" this Sound streaming app?

Heres the list what have i done:

1. Restarting the phone
2. Taking off the battery, wait for a while and the restart
3. restart without MMC card
4. format
5. full format

i think theres more, do tell me if there is 😉

Have you recently had headphones plugged in?
The contacts in the socket may be faulty and wont activate the loudspeaker.
The keypad tones use a different speaker (The earpiece).

Just a thought. 😊

Yeah that was my other thought why they wont ring (The contacts in the socket may be faulty and wont activate the loudspeaker.)

So guess they went nuts then, it's strange tho' after i've used 6600 for 4-5 hours and allready i got a fault in it. Usualy it takes five(teen) oops and one year the get something like this. 😊

I had that EXACT same problem with my 6600 too ... Was working great and everything, and suddenly the ringtones just quit on me!!! Turning off and on, removing MMC, removing SIM, resetting to factory, nothing worked ... But, if I listened very closely, I could hear the ringtone in the phone's earpiece (not the headset) ... Anyways, I didn't bother trying to set it right, just returned it and asked for a replacement, which should arrive within a week, Im told ... But, I would be VERY interested if somebody has a solution to this problem...
