Hi,
ive done a few searches and although ive found related topics and havent found anyone having the same specific problem as me, so i thought id just post a new thread about it. I apologise if it has been answered before but i cant find it for the life of me! 😃
I picked up a hbh-65 bluetooth headset last night and its great dont get me wrong i just have one small problem. Its nothing to do with battery draining or anything like that, its just that it refuses to maintain a connection with the 6600 unless there is sound coming through the phone. As soon as i leave the phone for more than 5 seconds it displays hbh-65 disconnected. Now every time i press the call button on the headset it then reconnects to the phone and its all fine, but if i leave it again it disconnects. When i have an imcoming call and press the handle button it tries to connect but cant for some reason. (The brackets go around the dot but then disappear shortly after). However once i have pressed to green button to answer the call , i press the call button on the headset and it connects to the phone straight away and sound is transferred to the headset.
Now although this isnt too bad it means that i can never answer a call using the headset only. I must always press the button on the phone first and then the headset.
Other than this i am very happy with the headset and of course it works perfectly with my t610. Has anyone else had a similar issue?? and should i be worried about it??
Thank you! 😃
Damn, still no reply yet...
Anyway i have also found that if the headset is paired with the 6600 and i then i disconnect and try to pair with my t610 it doesnt work straight away, i have to go through the whole process of re - pairing them and then when i go back to the 6600 it wont pair properly with it either... 😮 (i can still get it to pair but have to go through the whole process but it wont connect just from turning the headset on, like it did before)
Any ideas??
hi there,
I was going through th forum and came across your posting. I too have the same setup ie nokia 6600 and a HBH-65 headset. I faced the same problems only when i automatically connect the headset to the phone, that is; when i turn on the headset there is a beeping sound indicating that it is trying to find a paired phoen in range, then a message pops up on my phone asking me whether i wish to connect to the headset. Now if you connect the headset and the phone together like this, you wil face the problem of being disconnected. Some how, the only way to get the two devices to stay connected is to connect via the "bluetooth menu" .
Take note, u must first turn the headset on.... let it beep for awhile.. then when it stops beeping. connect the two devices via the bluetooth menu. Dnt get me wrong tho, u can still leave the devices paired up.
I hope this helps you if u havent already figured this out..
PS: As for you T610 probs, i face the same thing with my T630 and i still dnt really know y.. im guessing its because they are different brands of mobile.
