I broke my p800 and replaced it with the SX1. I just wanted to get something straight.....What the hell do I need to do to download midi, mp3 or wave files for ringtones? Secondly, what does it take to change the wallpaper to good old fashioned porn? Tell me that I dont have to go around downloading a bunch of new fangled hi-tech software to the phone to do this?
Old P800 VS. SX1
First question:
If you send a midi/wav to your phone via Bluetooth or Infrared it will come up as a new message in your inbox. Open it, and then go options -> save. This should save the file into the correct folder. From there go to profiles and select the tune.
At present there is no way to use mp3 as ringtone apart from converting them to wav first.
You might be able to use ogg files (better quality and smaller than mp3) as ringtones via the new plugin (see news item on main page). Nobody has tested on SX1 to my knowledge.
Second q:
Once the image is on your phone, simply open it, then go Options -> Wallpaper. ez pz 😃
I got it to work but used the USB cable. The software that came with the phone is a little slow. But the phone is loaded with tunes and nekkid women!
