How to re-arrange icons?

I just realized that i don't know how to re-arrange icons. Coz i'm a little of a neat-freak, so i want my game icons together, then my realone player and ultramp3 player together u know.... neat. Coz i installed these programs at different times so they're all over the place, anyone know how to re-arrange them without the need of external programs? Or if external programs are required, any suggestions?

MENU>OPTIONS>NEW FOLDER

then

OPTIONS>MOVE TO FOLDER
