😮 Maybe you talked about this before, but i didn't found the topic. I installed the dongle using attached driver (vidcom ver: 1.4.2.10). Maybe it will help so i am atthaching the install ini file:
SuppressWrongOS=Y
ScriptDriven=0
ScriptVer=1.0.0.1
DotNetOptionalInstallIfSilent=N
OnUpgrade=1
RequireExactLangMatch=0404,0804
Product=Bluetooth Software
PackageName=BTW.msi
MsiVersion=2.0.2600.0
EnableLangDlg=N
DoMaintenance=Y
ProductCode={FE90E9E7-A158-4687-8853-DF677A939A61}
ProductVersion=1.4.2.10
SuppressReboot=Y
PackageCode={A8407146-3B78-4707-BD29-B2663F841BCB}
Looks like the dongle is using same driver as MSI. I was able to install the driver and pair the PC and 6600 without any problem. When i clicked on port connection in BT neighbourhood windows reported an error that my phone dropped the connection. I got the same result on WinME and WIN2k. I am not using any firewall, just norton antivirus. I cant seem to enable the virtual com. port between the devices.
Any sudgestions???

Yeah, get the nokia pc suite for th 6600 and install that. You didn't exactly say which dongle you installed so it doesn't really matter if vidcom/ Widcomm is using the same drivers as msi since the hardware may or may not support the entire feature set or support it in the right way. I set up my bt serial port then installed the pc suite, connected the sp w/ the bluetooth tray icon then clicked through the connections in mrouter to get it right (probably did some things in between too) your milage may vary.
