Ewan's spent a lot of time recently with the Sendo X, and he's been busy finding out all about what could be the Killer Series 60 device. Read his in-depth review of the Sendo X here and start asking the same question as everyone else... where can we get one.
Our Massive Sendo X Review is Here
Many thanks, Ewan. You've just about convinced me.
And if you're still curious to see if iSync works, I've got a Mac... (in Cambridge)
Thanx for the good work! 😊
Great review Ewan. You supplied all the detail that others seem to miss.
Thanks for the great review. One thing that others have mentioned is that the unit is pretty thick in size. How did you find it to hold and carry around?
It's a good size, and it feels like a phone. Feel the width and realise it makes not a damm bit of difference unless you're in a pub fight. Then the Sendo X is your best friend 😉
I never noticed the width increase - so I think it's people trying to find somethign bad about it.
Ok thanks for that. I'm gonna have to think even harder about which to get now: the X or the 7610.
Carphonewarehouse told me the 7610 should be out this week which might sway me though as I have been waiting for ages for a new phone!
:icon14:
I'm sold Ewan, tell me where I can get one! 😊

sendo X is exactly as thick as nokia 6600 is. but is 1cm narrower.
I'd buy it in a second provided 2 things
1. it would be available 😊
2. it cost 399 euros 😊 (you can get nokia 66000 for 350 :-/)
500 Euros offline, between 250 Euros and 300Euros with a contract
Thanks for the review Ewan, it's all good, everything I wanted to hear!
Hi,
Great review, however I was curious about how the voice recognition software panned out? All hype, or was it usable? I'm curious to know, say, how much faster/slower it is to voice-navigate opening the calendar to today vs. navigating by key-presses. Or how much faster/slower it is to voice-dial a contact vs. other phones that use recorded voice-tags.
Could you touch up on that in your UI review? Thanks and keep up the good work!
Thanks for the great review!
Now I really want X, where can i buy it???
Is there any website where i can order besides the italian sites??
500 Euros is a good price...
Nocco: yes I will look at it. The Voice UI works very well, but it's probably slightly faster to use the direct key input. It's very useful on voice dial though... "Dial... Vikki... Mobile..."
nice, looking forward to it!

The other day I received this reply from Mr. Rich Walling, VP of Sales, of Sendo America:
"We do intend to sell the product here in the US. We are committed to
launching first in Europe and then will complete testing in US. It will
probably be another 60 days before it is available here."
I'm very encouraged by this news, and hope an operator will offer it in the U.S.
