Softcam and Remote60 will work with Yahoo and MSN, I know because I use them myself.
You need to set Softcam to Live rather than Stored, then use Remote60 to display your camera feed (preferbly using the "Camera Preview" option, and not just a straight feed from the phones display, otherwise when the cameras screensaver comes on, the camera feed will also show it.
You can do the above when a webcam session has been initiated with a user and Softcam has loaded via the camcorder icon in your tray.

Hope this helps.

Andy.

I'm doing everything right and doesn't matter where I move the capturing frame (the golden one) it shows black in either MSN or softcam's own preview window. What I am doing wrong?

Nope, its not the problem.

The Softcam doesn't see anything. It is only black either in the preview window or webcam at MSN MEssenger when I start.

Do you have any other video capture devices? i.e. a webcam? or are you running any third party desktop customisation programs? if so try disabiling them.

Hello 😊

I have just downloaded Remote S60 and SoftCam 1.5, and it worked from the very start perfectly. Also with MSN 6.2 which does NOT accept my original webcam (Keter Eye-On).

So i have a "real" webcam AND SoftCam and it works very well.

However what bothers me is the "camera on standby" after a minute or so. The phone is a 6600. Is there a way to keep the camera active?

Any help is appreciated 😊

PS it rocks - because you can wander around in the room and show your webcam partner stuff... beats a (cable-bound) "real" webcam!
