I have recently got a nokia 6600 and its great.
One annoying thing is that its all defaulted so that all the contacts are listed Lastname or Surname First, then the Firstname i.e. Smith John.
This is the same when I receive a text message from someone in my contacts.
I have managed to change the Contacts to Firstname Lastname, i.e. John Smith, but still when someone sends me a text is comes in as Smith John.
Is there anyway I can change the text message settings so that when i see the list in the inbox its Firstname then Lastname?
Or will i have to put both these fields into the firstname field?
Its one of those things that has been ironed out in the new firmware release....however upgrade at your own risk..
I think there is also an app from Ashley (the torch guy) that reverses all the entries in your address book to do this (of course this messes w/ your address book so you probably don't want to do, but it's an option).

Dude that app came out with the 7650 in mind, cause you couldnt change the first an last names around in contacts, so everyones name was displayed surnane then first...
and of course that app swapped it all around, however i dont think this worked for messages created and also recieved.

Try setting your message inbox to phone memory then back to memory card, it worked for me.
