this maybe a newbie question, but hey! im a newbie!!
i bought a nokia 6600 off ebay a while ago, but im having a right job setting it up!
i can send messages and nake calls but when i make calls, i cant hear ne on the other end!
i think its sumthing to do with the enhancment settings, i have 3 options:
-headset
-text phone
-loop set
please help me out!!

Can you hear calls when people call you or use the buttons on the touchpad to send tones for things like voicemail. I've seen this happen w/ other 60 series when they badly exit from an enhancement (particularly bluetooth headsets). You could try turning bluetooth off and rebooting your phone for a start. I think I went through everything on a 36xx with this issue and short of a hard reset the only thing Nokia or my service provider could do was give me a new phone. I would probably go for it if you have a new phone and everything backed up. Just make sure your battery is fully charged. If a hard reset doesn't fix it or work then you need to either do warranty service or contact the ebay vendor for a replacement. Read the codes thread on how to do it (you should try the non-destructive codes first.) In fact, just go to the settings menu and try resetting to operator settings as a first set. I'd agree you're right about the enhancements. If you happen to have a bluetooth headset or any of the handsfree items you should try plugging them in and test in them first, you may get a clean exit when you unplug them and that might just solve all your problems right away. Oh and remember to try calling your service provider and nokia if your phone is under warranty.

You should take it to one of your cellular service provider's care centers
