ok been playing on the 7610 a while every now and then. i wanted to know where is the option if i want to take pics with 640 res. i mean in the cam settings there is only basic, normal and high options. is there nothing like option of 640 or 1024 whtever. i think i did see this online somewhere so i am asking. or is taking pics at basic mode 640 res. plz explain if there is this setting then where is it in the menu thx

"High" and "Normal" are 1152 x 864 pictures...
"Basic" are for 640 x480 pics...

Comparing a 640x480 photo and a 1152x864 ... which one is better in clarity?
ive heard that pics taken at 640 res at very good than 6600 pics. though not many ppl are gonna take pics at 640. from wht i have seen 1mp pics rock at this time. :redface: . wonder how pics from CASIO 3.2mp camera phone will look like eh 😃 :tongue:

The quality of your photo depends on the light source (which I know you know)
I took a few photos indoors which had just enough artificial light: result was a grainy photo
Taking a photo indoor with heaps of artificial light resulted in a really nice photo (posted one at nokiafree.org/forums in the thread "Turn em round 2"😉

I'll have to check with that. I'm in the city about to meet up with my female friend (hehe ... not *girlfriend*) and hopefully i can take loads of piccys in Basic and High quality.
I might even use those coupons and go to the FujiFilm or Kodak stores ...
