Ping for Series 60?

Hi everybody!

Does anybody know of a ping utility for Series 60 phones which you can set the number of pings to send and the interval of the pings? An added bonus would be an audible alert when enough packets are lost.

Known ping utilities are IP View and NewTELnet (P800/Communicator only). Unfortunately IP View will only ping five times and at preset interwalls.

I suppose a Java midlet could do the job just as well as a native Series 60 program, I just haven't had any look finding either sort so far.

Thanks in advance.

I downloaded IP view for S60 in my Nokia 6600 with firmware v5.27 and it didn't work.

The screen shows some lines with asterisks, and the Options menu didn't allow to input an IP address.

Any suggestion?
