6600 deleted picture retrieval software

hii... i dont have a nokia 6600, but i have heard that if you take a picture with the 6600, and then deleted, it stays in the memory, the service centres can retrieve it, and also small phone shops also... i just want to know if this is actually a possibility.. and if any software is available, whats its name...
thanks guys...

Doesn't the OS just erase the index from the directory? I thought it was just a FAT 32 FS and the OS mapped file locations. Considering that transfer rate drops proportionally to MMC size/speed (24-9 or lower depending on what you have), but moving a file from one folder to another takes little to no time, I would assume it's just changing the reference to the file. If that's true, then the file is still there...
Provided:
1) No scratch/paging file is working to that device
2) No app is writing to that device (MMC in this example)
3) You don't add anymore pictures (definate mess up)

It's probably possible to slap the card in a reader and use some utility software to scan it for 'recoverable files'.

But no, it's not a good idea and I don't know of any symbian software that lets you do that.
