Easiest way to do this is with FExplorer. Make *ANY* bmp file on your computer (can even be colour). Make sure the pixel size is 97x25 or less. Locate file in FExplorer and do Options|File|Set as operator logo. Now confirm reboot. Now use FExplorer to locate the bmp in c:/system/apps/phone/oplogo, (the name will have changed relative to your network) and rename the extension from bmp to mbm. Now reboot and enjoy your colour operator logo! I've made a Capcom one to go with my super street fighter 2 X wallpaper! Btw, how do you make mbms? Are they just gifs with an mbm extension?

MBM's are Symbian's Multi BitMap format bitmaps (one file can, but doesn't have to, contain several bitmaps). There are tools in the Series 60 SDKs, for example, to edit/make them.
