Synchronising two P900s on the same PC - Hermes.mdb

I recently tried synchronising my wifes new P900 on my computer and got the following error:

"The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot open the file C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Sony Ericsson\Sync Station\hermes.mdb. It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view its data."

We have different user accounts but are both administrators so that can not be the problem.

I reinstaled the PC Suite and tried synchronising her phone and it worked. Only problem was that following this I had the same error when I tried to synchronise mine.

It would seem that as soon as one person synchronises for the first time it locks to that person.

I have emailed Sony Ericsson support but if anybody can offer any help it would be VERY welcome!

Hi, I have the exact same problem.
I just spoke to Sony Ericsson and they have told me to look in
C:\documents and settings\<user>\application data\Sony ricsson\Sync Station
and check that the hermes.mdb does actually exist.

they said if it does not then to reisnstall PC suite.

I suspect this is not going to solve it but I will try tonight and update you with my findings.

I know I am having one or two issues with the permissions for the second user n this PC (their folders are all inaccessible on a network) so maybe this might point to the reason.

I'm on XP Pro by the way.
