Hello All.
I have recently purchased a P900 having been a long time Palm OS person. Because I travel all over the world regularly, and the long distance access codes (00/001/011/019/etc) change from country to country, I would like to have the availability of getting the number from the contacts program and "editing the number before the call" like my T610 allows. I have tried many of the contact management programs (built-in, Agendus, Contacts Manager+, etc) but they do not allow this - they simply go to dial mode immediately. Additionally I have tried to use the calling card settings to beat this but have been unable.
I would appreciate any input or suggestions.
Many thanks
There is no real solution to this, unless u do what I did a couple of years ago. Since I travel a lot to, at one point I decided that insted of having to edit the number each time before I place a call, I changed all the numbers in my contacts list to international format, since even if you are in ur home network, there is no problem dialing a number using the countries code as well.
So you can do the same thing... just change all your number to international format by adding +countrycode infront of all your contacts. U can either do it manually, or change then in outlook and then sync back to ur phone. That way you wont have a problem dialing a number in whatever country u may be.
Thanks for the suggestion. It should help with a couple of suggestions.
All the best
