Formatting N-gage

it depends if they are on your sim. if they are you can get them back off that .. if they arent then they wont be

Out of curiosity...what screen do you need to be on to format your system? Do you just type *#7370# and that's it?

You do it in the idle/standby screen where you'd dial a phone number. You need the lock code for your phone (default is 12345 as mentioned in the User's Guide). Make also sure you don't run out of battery (or keep the phone on AC) in the middle of the process.

One question guys... Other than contacts, messages, settings, apps that I've installed, does this *#7370# format function also removes the N-Gage ROM apps such as realone player, screenshot, image viewer and others that were originally given by the N-Gage?

No. It won't touch original, built-in ROM-based apps. The result of that operation is a phone that's more or less in the same state as it was in when it left the factory where it was made.
