i bought a nokia 6600 a few days back.. i'm unable to send sound files of any format.. when i try to attach i get an error "unable to insert. object format not supported" plzz help..

The formats wich you can send are sown in the dialog box when you try to attach a file (haven't got a s60 devices around, my 6600 and another s60 are back to Nokia....)
I think you can only send .wave files (audio) with a message.
You'll have to look in the dialog box to check it. I thinbk you can trick the mail client by renaming a file to a propper format, like .dat into .txt to send a app part via E-mail.

Can you not even send one in .AMR format that you have recorded yourself if you send it via MMS?

are you using pc suite? if so, you must OPEN your memory card, then OPEN your sound folder, then OPEN your digital sounds folder.
apparently you hunst specify a folder and have it open before it will transfer
