How do you install firmware??? is it possible to do it by your self? and what if the telefon freezes before typing pin???

How to install firmware?
The P800 needs to be reflashed with new firmware by a service/repair center.
The P900 can be reflashed by yourself using the USB docking station.
You can't install the firmware by yourself. You have to take it to Sony Ericsson service center, they will do it for you

I took my P800 to a local shop that advertised Unlocking etc. They had it for a couple of hours and charged me �20 for the latest firmware flash.
I had rung first SE but the nearest walk-in centre to me is about 100 miles away.
is it possible to install the p900 firmware to your p800 by your self with the usb docking station???
