changing time?!

when i put my 900 on the synch station, the time just changes on its own! the pc is showing the original time, so why does it change?

Because you have the option "Set phone to PC time on synch" ticked and one or both of the following are different;

1. The primary timezone on the phone and on the PC\PIM
2. Daylight savings on the phone and on the PC\PIM

Just unticking the option won't fix anything 'cause you'll just find all of your appointments are set forward or back an hour when you synch them, so you'll need to check all the options on your PC and phone relating to time zones and daylights savings and make sure they are the same. It's one of those things that, if they're right first time, it's easy. If you have to try to fix it though, it can be a major headache. Certain programs (such as worldmate) will change settings to what they think it should be. So you might change the daylight savings on the phone, try to synch thinking everything should be okay, but in the meantime Worldmate has gone and changed things back to how they were.

But with some logical thinking and patience you will get there in the end. Good luck!

where is that setting? i might try it first to see what it does. i only use the synch as a backup anyway

Right click on the P900 icon in the system tray and select "Properties" from the Pop-up menu. You'll get a Dialogue Box with a tick-box labeled something like "Synch Phone time with PC time each time they are connected". Just untick the box and okay it.
