How to transfer data from 6600 to 7610

I just can't make this terrible nokia pc suite 6.2 work properly. It detects all my phones(3650/6600/7610) but then it says "failed to select the phone"

has anyone got any ideas how to copy all the phonebook from 6600 to 7610 without using outlook ?

How are you trying to connect to your 6600 and 7610? Bluetooth? USB? IR?

PC Suite worked like a charm for me coping my contacts from my old 8310 over IR to my 7610 over bluetooth. I was quite surprised!

I tried almost every way.
6600 with bluetooth (with two different bluetooth dongles msi & billionton)
7610 with bluetooth and pop port.

Finally I used synchonization with outlook to transfer phonebook but as you know I've lost all my default number settings, thubnail photos, all my nubers that have the same definiton in one name (eg. John: mobile1: XXXX mobile2: XXXX), and finally still have no idea why it happens all the birthdates are set to 1 day before they are (eg. 28.07.1975 is set to 27.07.1975)

So I spent all night to readjust them. total pain in the neck...

go into the contacts on your 6600 and 'mark all' then e-mail them to you 7610, it will create a single e-mail with all your contact info in, your email will arrive with your contacts as attachments which you simply re-save - thumbnail pix and all.
Worked a treat for me.

Or you can always bluetooth them from phone to phone one at a time..

just cant get working on my 7650 on back up-ing my files using pc suite v6.x, it won't conenct using MSI bluetooth btoes, can any body help??? on the splash screen, a picture of a Nokia 7650 is there but can's seems to be working...
