I purchased an unlocked N7610 and recently came upon a weird crash. Whenever I type the first "l" in the word "thatll" the SmsEditor closes. I have no idea what's causing this or why it's happening. I've tested it in the Email App and the Calendar App and both of those close as well upon the first "l" being typed. Has anyone else experienced this crash? Any ideas on how to rectify it? Thanks.

My phone doesnt recognise that as a word but has no problems adding it to the dictionary and I can type it in again... What firmware version have you got? I think some of the earlier ones had problem with their user defined words..
I can add it to my dictionary but when I try and use it in any application the app closes. I contacted the vendor where I purchased the phone and he said he just did a random test on 3 separate phones with all the same outcome (same outcome as mine I assume). My firmware version is as follows:

Is this the same as yours? He also said to get my software updated once it's released here in the U.S. Suppose I'll just have to deal with it for now unless you know of a solution. Thanks.
I believe you have the Chinese version which if I recall is the one that had the problems. Have a search on this forum and some others like mobileburn.com because I cant remember where I saw it mentioned.
