hi guys!
PC suite can detect my phone, but it displays error when i tried to back up. It says:
An unexpected error has occurred while backing up data.
Please run the backup task again.
However, It can do the restore it, it's funny, isn't it? I restore it with the back up I created with infrared connection. So is it the bluetooth thing?? So what I am doing now is to synchronise it with microsoft outlook (with the pc suite), it works well. (The only thing that works well!! File transfer and image transfer are not working either!!!)
Here's what I do to connect PC suite:
1. run the pc suite
2. connect the pc to the phone (use the serial port)
3. and the mrouter will detect the phone..
Another funny thing, it cannot detect if I connect the serial port first!!
OPMII works well.. very well indeed except i am running OPMII 2.2 trial version only, and i don't have the crack for it. Any help?
(To connect the OPM you must first turn off the mrouter from pcsuite.)
I would appreciate if someone mail me the crack 😊
Firstly, have you dowloaded the new pc suite? here's a quick link to a site that has the direct dowload link planetmobile.blogspot.com That has happened to me too. I changed my backup folder to a different one, now it works fine.
I think your signature is enough.I don't think the official website for the new PC Suite version is Planet Mobile but www.nokia.com
OH who cares if there is a new PC Suite it is complete and utter s**t. I just use Nokia Audio Manager or drag and drop the files.
MMM can u please tell me how do you do that???

Why is the PC Suite that comes with the 6600 so basic when compared to the versions supplied with othe phones (the 6230 for example).
I tried to get PC Suite 6.2 that came with my girlfirends new phone working with my 660 but no joy. Anyone else had any luck?
The old (useful!!) version of PC Suite definitely doesn't work with the N6600. I actually tried to get a reply from Nokia about the massive change to the 6600 Pc Suite...they didn't really reply beyond saying that you can manage contacts in Outlook and then sync them with your phone...Good luck with that...and what about SMS, :con?
Ulimtately they're not a software company (sometimes they're barely a phone manufacturing company!) and they must have decided that producing and releasing fully functioning software was best left to pure software companies. :icon13: :frown:
It's not much help i know but I'd rather you didn't waste any more time trying to get the 6600 PC Suite to to do stuff it's not made to do!
BTW there are one or two alternatives, the Oxygen Phone Manager software for Symbian is apparently quite good. Eventually a product called MOBILEdit will include Symbian and that looks even better. :icon14:
