IS there Anyway of getting the hotmail mail box settings i am willing to pay but do not want to use any third party programs just want to recieve mail through the mail box icon in messaging.
Also my HDW-2 asks me for a pin code and i have not set one tried the pin i use for my pc connection but not working????
Hotmail does not support email access through Internet standard protocols IMPA4/POP3 and SMTP. Those are what the email client (Messaging app) on your phone supports. You can access Hotmail through WAP using the built-in browser: http://mobile.msn.com/wml
The HDW-2 Bluetooth pairing code was delivered with the phone on a little card in the sales package (taped to the manual's front cover, if my memory serves me right). If you've lost it, then it takes at most a 1000 tries to discover it (0000, 0001, 00002, ... 9999). 😉
The pin for HDW-2 is in the user manual. Usually its 0000, but i have a bad feeling hdw 2 was something like 1234, or even possible 12345
Check user manual is easiest way, if you havent changed it then it will still be on the factory pin which is in the manual
