hi its been a while since ive visited this site as im between phones (using a 7110 for the last few weeks since i sold my 3650 ) but ive bought a 6600 and it should be with me on tuesday so you will be hearing a lot more from me in the future .is there anything i should look out for with my new 6600 compared with my 3650 , ive spent the last two hours trawling through the 6600 topics and ive learned alot but just a couple of questions to ask , will fexplorer work just aswell as it did on my 3650 like operator logos or do i have to install them as part of a theme .is it easy to install themes and is there a website with a how to do it on it . I know i should wait till tuesday and read the manual but im getting excited and want to know how it will differ from my 3650 .

thanks

You install themes just like Symbian/Series 60 apps; themes are delivered as installable .sis files.

Free themes on http://www.symbianthemes.com

Commercial ones on http://www.mangothemes.com

FExplorer works just as well on the 6600 (as long as you have at least v1.11) as on the 3650. Themes do not affect operator logos, so FExplorer comes still handy for that. too.

You can download the 6600 manual from http://www.nokia.com/phones/6600 as PDF and read it before you get your phone.
