Editing Go-To list on Nokia 6600

Hi all,

I've tried doing a search on this but haven't come up with anything. My provider took it upon themselves to add a whole bunch of junk to my go-to list or pinboard however you want to call it. I can't delete any of the items in there. Anybody know how to go about this? This is on a Nokia 6600. Thx

I tried replacing the pinboard file but it just gets recreated with all my provider's junk in it whenever I use goto again!

Not a big deal really because I can't see the point of goto anyway. e.g. I can't add shortcuts to "new text message" or anything else useful...

Yes you can.
Whith a program called AppMan.
Cya

I've tried using Appman to make a shortcut straight to SMS editor but it comes up as a blank item in the goto list! How exactly can you do this?

Hi I have the same prob with my N70, the service provider put a lot of junk inside the go to, but I cant delete them.

ALso, the Appman 1.4 used cannot put the shortcuts in the go to as after I added a shortcut, I cannot activate go to anymore... it just wont come out...

any solutions so far?

You CAN add a shortcut to New text message and many others useful apps and functionality using an excellent program called 'Smart Settings' for symbian. It has made the phone (mine-6600) significantly more user friendly

also forgot to mention the 'smart settings' program removes the left selection key binding to lock the phone. Normally the left selection key is slow (slower than the right selection key) as the phone has to wait before opening the left selection key to see if the user will click '*' to lock the phone. This is no longer with this program and it allows user defined shortcuts to unlock the phone as well
