i am a new n-gage user, about a month old now.. i was so excited about the unit, so i put some wav and mp3 files (first in a usb cable, then i tried on a bluetooth via pc) on my free-included memory card that also contains a game (flo-boadring). it was functioning very well,then suddenly when i played the mp3 on a loudspeaker an annoying tweet-sound came then it restarted. thats the start
ofmy problem. then the n-gage is restarting all by itself, and no phone signal
it tried to reformat the card and restore the unit by a PC suite and still the problems persist.
not only dat couple of times it reboots and shows only the nokia logo. and the worst of it all it never continued to start and shows only the logo when pressing the power button
to my frustration i returned it to the store where i bought it. they say it was my fault.. and they voided the warranty. so being a pacifist and to avoid so much arguements.. i paid the service charge which fortunately was cheap.
after 1 week i am glad to get my n-gage back .. i am so happy then that it was like brand new even the programs were refresh and it functions like when i first bought it. learning from those experience i was careful enof not to load anything to my memory card thru the phone so i used a reader and writer to load files to my mmc. then again.. when i am playing a Real One Video file the annoying-tweet sounded again .. and restarted and has again no phone signal .. i returned it to the store. i am very depressed and puzzled why this things happen. i am concluding that i might be the mmc (which i thing is corrupted)and is corrupting my n-gage. is it possible that a dysfuntional mmc can corrupt the n-gage software? or in my case is the unit already has hardware problems?
